📢 Wombourne Parish Council 2025/26 Budget & Precept Explained 📢
We’re committed to keeping Wombourne a great place to live, work and visit.
For 2025/26, the precept will increase by 5%, meaning the average Band D household will contribute £71.67 per year (£1.38 per week), an increase of just £3.18 per year (6p per week)
🔹 What does the precept pay for?
✔️ Annual Christmas Lights & Switch-On Event 🎄
✔️ Maintaining & improving Bratch Park, Poolhouse Play Area & Brickbridge Playing Fields 🌳
✔️ Free-to-use public toilets 🚻
✔️ Supporting local businesses & community groups 🏡
✔️ Investing in the Civic Centre & local events 🎭
✔️ NEW initiatives: Village Warden, Bleed Kits, Bus Shelter, Public Toilet Refurbishment & Car Park Repairs 🚧
