We are absolutely delighted to announce that Jane Evans has been awarded this year’s Joan Williams Civic Award in recognition of her incredible commitment to the Wombourne community.
Jane is the heart and soul of so many voluntary efforts across the village. From litter picking at dawn in all weathers, to clearing drains, emptying bins, sweeping pavements, tidying neglected areas and maintaining flower planters – often using her own resources – Jane simply gets on with it.
Her dedication is quiet, but unwavering. Whether she’s supporting Duke of Edinburgh students, helping at charity events or inspiring others to take pride in Wombourne, Jane leads by example and brings warmth, kindness and energy to everything she does.
She does it all because she cares and that’s what truly sets her apart.
