Local Government Reorganisation
Central government has asked every council in the country to develop a plan to create a new bigger council delivering all council services in that area – known as Local Government Reorganisation.
In Staffordshire you’re currently supported by South Staffordshire Council and Staffordshire County Council. The central government’s plan means you’ll have one council, delivering all services across a larger area – aiming to make it easier for you to access the services you need.
South Staffordshire Council would like to know your views and understand what is important to you as they work on the final proposal.
