🌟 An Incredible Charity Challenge 🌟
We’re pleased to share that our Clerk, Rachael Wright, will be taking on an extraordinary charity challenge this September! 💪
Rachael has been selected from thousands of applicants to take part in a 50km trek along the Great Wall of China 🏯 in support of CoppaFeel!, a UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer and the importance of early detection 🎗️
Breast cancer has affected Rachael’s family, as it has so many others, and this challenge is a very personal way for her to support a cause that works tirelessly to encourage people to know their bodies and seek medical advice when something doesn’t feel right. 💖
The trek will take place over five demanding days, covering remote and mountainous sections of the Great Wall ⛰️ and will be both a physical and mental challenge.
In the lead-up to the trek, Rachael will be hosting a series of community fundraising events between now and September 🎉, including bingo, a quiz night, a coffee morning ☕ and a stall at Wombourne Carnival, all helping to raise awareness of CoppaFeel!’s life-saving work.
