Orton Lane Update
Last night’s District Council meeting brought a significant outcome for the Orton Lane development site.
Planning application 24/00241/FULM was on the agenda, with Councillor Dan Kinsey BEM speaking as ward member to request a deferral — stating clearly that the application simply isn’t good enough.
Despite a recommendation for approval from planning officers, committee members voted to defer the application, citing ongoing concerns.
This is a positive step forward, and we’re grateful to the 30+ residents who attended to show their support. Thank you for standing with us and making your voices heard.
