Thank you, Mrs Marsh!

🌳 A Tree-mendous Gift! 🌳
South Staffordshire Council would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Mrs Susan Marsh of Wombourne, who recently made a generous donation of trees to support the restoration of Wombrook Walk.
Â
Mrs Marsh contacted the council’s Tree Inspector, Darren Allen, offering over a dozen trees she had lovingly grown from seed in her own garden.
Â
Her thoughtful donation comes at a time when many mature trees in the area were sadly lost during the winter storms.
Â
Their Tree Team was pleased to collect and plant the trees in locations along Wombrook Walk where they were most needed. The newly planted trees will help to replenish the local landscape, support wildlife habitats and offer natural beauty for residents and visitors to enjoy for generations to come.
Â
This act of community spirit is a wonderful example of how residents can make a meaningful contribution to our shared environment. Thank you to Mrs Marsh for her generosity and care for the local area. 🌳
