2024 marks the 50th anniversary of South Staffordshire Council, who are celebrating by hosting an invite-only awards ceremony and celebration evening focusing on how people have made South Staffordshire an amazing place to live in, work and visit. They want to honour those who have really made a difference to the community, whilst celebrating the successes of the last 50 years as a district council.
By completing this short nomination form, you can nominate an individual, group or organisation who you feel deserves to be recognised for their continued efforts. The winners will be invited to our celebration event on Tuesday, October 1st from 6pm onwards at Codsall Community Hub, WV8 1PX.
AWARD CATEGORIES
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Recognises those volunteers who have given long service to community life for more than 50 years
• Volunteering in the Community Award: Individuals or groups who have given up their time to make a positive difference within South Staffordshire
• Young Volunteer Award: Recognises outstanding young volunteers who have shown dedication in the community
• Business Community Contribution Award: Celebrates a socially responsible business who has actively supported their community in positive activities
• Green Award: Recognises a business, individual or organisation that has taken action to positively impact the environment and the community they serve
• Building Inclusion in the Community Award: This award celebrates a community organisation or individual that supports a diverse group of people and creates inclusive spaces
• Love Your Village Award: This award celebrates individuals, groups or projects that have enhanced village life and brought together people from within their community
