Road Closures for Fixes
Please Plan Ahead
Staffordshire County Council will be carrying out repairs and improvements in Wombourne starting this week, so please plan your journeys and leave extra time where needed. Their work usually includes surfacing and repairs to the road, footways and kerbs and sometimes replacing manhole covers and grids too. Repairs are scheduled as part of their annual programme or they can be priorities put forward by your local County Councillor. While work takes place, they may need to put in temporary short-term closures. Improvements are due to take place in the following locations:
• Jenks Road – 21st to 25th October
• Lamb Crescent * Ounsdale Road – 28th October to 1st November
• Mill Lane & Sytch Lane on 4th – 8th November
