Halloween Safety
Happy Halloween!
South Staffordshire Community Safety Partnership wants you to enjoy Halloween, but remember, not everyone wants to take part! Here’s a few things to remember when you’re out this Halloween:
🎃 If you’re going trick or treating, make sure you go with an adult and let your parent or carer know where you’re going and when to expect you back.
🎃 Don’t knock if there’s a sign saying ‘No trick or treat here.’
🎃 Be careful not to frighten elderly or vulnerable people.
🎃 Don’t go trick or treating alone – stay with your group.
🎃 Only visit areas where there are streetlights.
🎃 Don’t throw eggs and flour.
🎃 Be careful crossing roads in the dark.
Have a great time, stay safe and look out for each other. If you or someone you know is in danger call 999.

Double Bill of Horror
Two plays in one evening!
Wombourne Library presents a double bill of horror – Two, one act plays by A.A. Birch. It’s a 8pm on 9th November with general tickets £10 and students/OAPs £8. Please book your tickets at www.blackcountryhorror.com or by calling 07798 914579.
When Hell Breaks Loose
– Disenchanted with working for other people, Steve Fletcher decides to turn to the more lucrative life of crime. Burglary is proving to be much more exciting than his previous job as a delivery driver and so far everything has been going well. Tonight his luck is about to change.
The Vampyre of Huntley Cross
– Miss Colburn lives alone in a beautiful cottage, in the depths of the Shropshire countryside. As a foster carer for stray dogs she takes them in and cares for them until they can be found their ‘forever’ home. Following a brief on-line conversation a potential owner, she is invited to meet a lurcher called Harvey. Dark secrets are revealed and the encounter gradually takes on a more sinister turn.
Please note that there will be some swearing and scenes of violence.

Wombourne’s Christmas Lights Switch On
SAVE THE DATE! 🎅
Wombourne’s Lights Switch On is on Friday 29th November, so pop it in your diary! Mrs Baldwin is bringing along her choir from St Bernadettes School to perform outside Wombourne Civic Centre, so please come along to support them. Then two pupils from Cherry Trees School will be switching on our Christmas Lights to kickstart that festive feeling, before we finish with a bang and our firework display! 🎆 Many of our local retailers will also be staying open late on this evening to help you with your Christmas shopping, so don’t forget to #shoplocal. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Our Wodehouse Suite will shortly be available for hire for four Tuesdays in a row! This hall is a fantastic space for classes to run and costs £27.50 per hour. It is currently available during the day on Tuesday 25th November, Tuesday 3rd December, Tuesday 10th December and Tuesday 17th December. Cinderella is coming to Wombourne!

Get your Prince Charmings and Princesses ready to go to the ball! Cinderella is coming to Wombourne – Twice! We have two shows at Wombourne Civic Centre on Saturday 7th December (3.30pm and 6.15pm). Call 01902 896300 to reserve your tickets – over half have sold already! 🎫 It’s £10 per child and £12 for anyone 17 years and over. 👨👩👧👦 Payments can be made via card or bank transfer and doors will open 15 minutes before the start time, so you can order drinks and find your seats, which are on a first come, first served basis. We can’t wait to see you all there! 😃

Wolves Soccer School
