Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner

Ben Adams, our newly appointed Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner will attend our Full Council meeting on Monday 28th October. This will take place at 7pm in the Council Chamber building, which is on the Civic Centre car-park.
 
There will be the usual 15 minutes of public participation, before Ben has his own slot to answer your questions and discuss any issues raised. If you are interested in learning more about Ben before the meeting, please click this link:

Your Parish, District and County Councillors will also be present, so this is a great opportunity to come and speak to them about local issues and discover what projects they are currently working on.

Free Personal Alarms

We have had another lot of personal alarms delivered by the District Council, which we are giving out for FREE to South Staffordshire residents. If you or a family member would like one, please call into the Parish Council Office at the front of the Civic Centre between 9am and 3pm weekdays to collect before they’re all gone. Thank you!

Cinderella is coming!

SAVE THE DATE! 🎭
Cinderella is coming to Wombourne Civic Centre on Saturday 7th December! There’ll be performances at 3.30pm and 6.15pm, so call 01902 896300 to book your tickets! 🎫 It’s £10 per child and £12 for those 17 years and over. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Payments can be made via card or bank transfer and doors open 15 minutes before, so you can order drinks from the bar and find your seats, which are on a first come, first served basis. See you all there! 😃

Best Kept Village Volunteers

The Best Kept Village Team has helped to keep Wombourne looking fabulous for over 30 years! They’ve been lucky enough to have some amazing volunteers in that time.
 
Unfortunately, numbers have dwindled and their Chair and Vice Chair now have other commitments. They need some new faces, fresh ideas and new direction. To ensure the survival of BKV in Wombourne. they need at least 2 or 3 new people, who are willing to give a couple of hours a week. They need to be able to either co-ordinate and/or take part in events, like litter-picking, path clearing and planting.

Christmas Stallholders Wanted!

OUR CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR IS BACK! 🎅
This year it will be taking place in the Council Chamber on the Civic Centre car-park. It’s happening on Small Business Saturday 7th December between 11am till 2pm. We are currently looking for crafty stallholders to display all their home-made Christmassy treats, so if you or someone you know are interested, please get in touch. Tables are £12 each, including VAT, and allocated on a first come, first served basis. 😁 Please call 01902 896300 to reserve your table.
