Well done to Rory Antonio and Walkers Way for their Wombourne in Bloom displays! 👏 We felt that their efforts should be highly commended, so Chairman Vince Merrick and Vice Chairman Martin Perry paid them both a visit yesterday to present their certificates. Their beautiful blooms certainly add something special to our village, so make sure you drop by to take a look. Thank you to everyone who took part in the competition. It is very much appreciated. 🌸

Grand Opening!
New Gym Equiment!
Don’t forget to join our Parish Councillors for the official opening of the new exercise equipment at Brickbridge Playing Fields. It’s happening TOMORROW, Saturday 13th July, at 11am! This is the perfect time to show your support and also give the new equipment a go!
Here are our energetic Councillors Martin Perry and Daisy Tait modelling the pieces of equipment! This equipment is free and available for all local residents to use, so get down to Brickbridge and try it out!

Tourism Awards Competition 2025
Entries open now!
The area’s largest celebration of tourism and hospitality, the 2025 Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards competition, is now open for entries!
Organised by the Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), the region’s accredited tourist board, in partnership with VisitEngland, this prestigious competition sees attractions, venues, experiences, accommodation businesses, restaurants, pubs and cafes go head-to-head in 19 categories.
We’d encourage any business that thinks they’ve got what it takes to win to enter.
The awards are free to enter and any tourism or hospitality business located in Staffordshire, including Stoke-on-Trent, can apply. All applications must be submitted online before 11.59pm on Monday, September 2, 2024.
